As parents, we are exposed to many messages about how to raise our children well. It is often difficult to decipher which advice is the right for us. It was no different for me; a first-time Mom looking to do all the right things. With birth of my daughter came increasing awareness of the importance of caring for her in a safe and toxin-free environment. And my education and background in environmental health was a constant reminder to me that young children are especially vulnerable to many unsafe ingredients found in products we use day to day. Each time I shopped for her, my list of questions grew and my promise to provide her with a safe and toxin-free environment became stronger.
“How does a parent decipher what is safe and what isn’t when caring for their child? Why is it so hard to find trusted, high-quality baby products which are proven safe and toxin-free? Why isn’t there one trusted place I could go to for all I would need?” After several months of ongoing product research and store visits around the city, my frustration only grew. I realized many other parents must be in the same position as me. Soon a promise to my daughter became a commitment to share my research, conclusions and product finds with other parents, and so, Care for Me Naturally came to be.

And of course, as I promised my own daughter, we take into account the safety, health and well-being of children in every product we make available on our website.
